The "oldies" clash between former world champions Dariusz Michalczewski and Sven Ottke has imploded. Team Michalczewski has announced that 'The Tiger' is no longer available "due to the non-compliance with key contractual elements." The fight, slated for May 24th at the TUI Arena in Hannover, Germany, never really caught on as TV networks showed little interest and ticket sales were lukewarm at best. Both Michalczewski and Ottke were reportedly to receive around ?2 million each.
