Kotelnik Wants Hatton, Witter Rematch

Following his knockout win over Gavin Rees to capture the WBA junior welterweight title in Wales, Andreas Kotelnik (29-2-1, 13 KOs), a former Olympic silver medalist, is all for a unification rematch with WBC champion Junior Witter (36-1, 21 KOs) - IF the money is right. He told reporters that he would much rather fight the biggest moneymaker at the weight in Ricky Hatton, but would not rule out a Witter rematch if it came at the right price.

Kotelnik has not lost a fight since decision loss to Witter in 2005. The fight was close with two of the three official judges scoring the fight for Witter with 115-114 cards. Since the loss to Witter, Kotelnik has been on a roll. He scored a big in his next fight over Mohamad Abdulaev and a few fights later he fought to a disputed draw with former champ Souleymane M'baye.

Witter is currently without a dance partner after a falling out with previous opponent Demetrius Hopkins. Hatton returns in May against Juan Lazcano.
