Heavyweight contender Juan Carlos Gomez has not been heard from even through he is slated to face Vladimir Virchis in a WBC world title elimination fight. Only his attorneys and advisors have been in contact with promoter Arena Box-Promotion. Arena CEO Ahmet Öner has offered Gomez an extra $200,000 if he defeats Virchis. The fight with Virchis must take place in the next 90 days, and if Gomez doesn't resurface, another opponent will be found.
