The IBF heavyweight final eliminator between Alexander Povetkin and Eddie Chambers is headed to Germany. The bout will take place on January 26th at the Tempodrome in Berlin. Goossen Tutor and Sauerland Event are putting the final touches on the last open points and should have everything finalized tomorrow, at which point the attorneys will draft the contracts. "Dan and I first dealt with each other some nine or ten years ago," said Sauerland Events General Manager Chris Meyer, "so there is a relation of trust. We are happy that Povetkin-Chambers will take place in Germany. The fighters meet halfway to each other (Moscow/Philly) in Berlin. We are also very glad that HBO is transmitting the bout. This gives exposure throughout the world for the next challenger of Wlad Klitscho sometime in early summer."
