Game challenger Jesse Feliciano (15-6-3, 9 KOs) gave IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron (29-1, 27 KOs) all he could handle until a late barrage by Cintron in round ten convinced referee Jon Schorle to stop the fight at the 1:53 mark. Cintron's night was further frustrating when he suffered an injury during his post fight celebration.
In a battle between former world champions, Roman "Made In Hell" Karmazin (36-2-1, 23 KOs) demolished Alejandro "Terra" Garcia (25-3, 23 KOs). Karmazin dropped Garcia in round one with a body shot and finished him with another body barrage in round three. Garcia was counted out at 1:24. Karmazin wins the WBA Intercontinental belt.
