In an IBF heavyweight eliminator, Eddie Chambers (30-0, 16 KOs) won a twelve round split decision over Calvin Brock (31-2, 23 KOs) on Friday night at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA. Neither fighter ever took command in the bout, but the quicker Chambers landed the cleaner punches giving him a 115-113, 115-113 win on two cards. Brock was ahead 115-113 on the third card. Chambers will now go on to face Alexander Povetkin in a final IBF eliminator to determine the mandatory challenger for world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
