WBO #1 contender still on track for title shot WBO #1 heavyweight contender Tony "The Tiger" Thompson (31-1, 19 KOs) brutally knocked out Cliff "Twin Tyson" Couser (26-13, 14 KOs) in the second round on Thursday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California. Thompson, the mandatory challenger for the winner of the October 13 Ibragimov-Holyfield heavyweight title clash, connected with a series of hard right hands that finally brought Couser down to the canvas at 1:49 of the second.
