Win or lose, former world champion Fernando Vargas confirmed that his highly anticipated September 8 SHOWTIME PPV clash against Ricardo Mayorga will be his final fight. "I won't fight again even for $100 million," 'El Feroz' stated, also revealing that he is currently at 170lbs. The bout is contracted at 162. Vargas said he has the advantage in that bout because he's already 1-0 against Mayorga, having landed a right hand and two left uppercuts during the inital press conference. "I got him that night," stated Vargas. "He didn't even look at me in New York (during a second press conference). I'm going to knock him out!" Vargas added that the animosity between he and Mayorga is definitely real and not prefight hype. "He's a jacka-- .... I'm going to knock him out, then make him apologize to my mother," he said.
