"He is a lot taller than me and than the ones I fought in the past but he is just another boxer," says WBA mandatory challenger Ruslan Chagaev (22-0-1, 17 KOs) in regard to his April 14 collision with seven-foot WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev (46-0, 34 KOs) at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart. Valuev is 10.5 inches taller than Chagaev and outweighs Chagaev by 88 pounds. "It is my job to give my best and to win. This is exactly what I will do and I will prepare myself for this challenge with my coach Michael Timm. This is the biggest fight of my life. I have dreamed for this moment for so long. I want to be world champion." Trainer Michael Timm commented, "We will find a way to level out these differences in height and weight but I won’t give any details about these plans!"
