Another chance for a Universum fighter to become world champion. #1 rated jr welterweight Andreas Kotelnik (27-2, 12 KOs) will try to take away the WBA world title belt of current Champion Souleymane M´Baye (35-1, 20 KOs) on Saturday in Liverpool. The 29-year-old mandatory challenger Kotelnik will be facing M'Baye for the second time. He lost a controversial split decision in an October 2004 world title eliminator. "In my first fight against M'Baye, I was inexperienced," says Kotelnik. "I have learned a lot since than and have worked very hard during our training camp in Schwerin. I'm in great shape and ready for this challenge. I will show that I'm the best!" M´Baye won the vacated WBA belt of Ricky Hatton in September 2006 against Raul Balbi. The 31-year-old from Paris is known for his hard punch, but Kotelnik knows what to expect and says he's ready.
