Former IBF super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy will be out of action for 9-12 months, reports the St. Pete Times. Lacy suffered a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder during his bout in Tampa Saturday night against Vitali Tsypko and is expected to have surgery in the next few days.

Winky easily outpoints Ike!

It was a typical Winky Wright performance during Wright's homecoming in front of a big crowd in Tampa after a 14 year hiatus. Wright (51-3-1, 25 KOs) completely dominated Ike Quartey (37-4-1, 31 KOs) over twelve rounds at the St Pete Times Forum.
