Pacquiao defeats Larios!

Super featherweight superstar Manny Pacquiao (42-3-2, 32 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous deciaion over game Oscar Larios (56-5-1, 36 KOs) Sunday morning at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines. Larios had some good rounds early, but was cut over the left eye by a punch in round three, which bled for the rest of the fight. By round four, Pacman was in command and the bout became one-sided in his favor after that. Larios was down briefly in round seven and again in round twelve with about :30 left in the fight, but made it to the final bell, fighting courageously the entire twelve round distance. Scores were 117-110, 118-108, 120-106. The bout was for WBC International 130lb title.

Confident Larios arrives in Manila!

Mexican Oscar Larios arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday afternoon in an upbeat mood. He will square off with Manny Pacquiao on July 2 at the Araneta Coliseum, site of the 1975 Thrilla in Manila between Ali and Frazier. Pacquiao vs Larios in Manila?

The Mexican media reported on Wednesday that Manny Pacquiao will clash with Oscar Larios sometime in May this year in Manila, Philippines.
