Bernard Hopkins, still basking in the glory of his stunning victory of Antonio Tarver, is planning a well-deserved vacation with his family. He reaffirmed his retirement late last week.
Joe Calzaghe, however, is hoping to lure Hopkins back into the ring. "I'll fight at whichever weight he wants, either at lightheavy or my favoured division, super middleweight. I'll go to America, as well, if that's the only stumbling block, I'll go anywhere at any time....I was devastated that Hopkins bashed Tarver up so badly and won, as I was planning Tarver as my big-pay day, that was my big pension fund. So Hopkins has cost me big-time."
Jeff Lacy has targeted Antonio Tarver as a possible October opponent. Lacy is willing to move to Tarver's light heavyweight division
