Dzinziruk retained his world title

In other action, unbeaten WBO super welterweight champion Sergej Dzinziruk (32-0, 21 KOs) unanimously retained his world title against Sebastian Lujan (25-4-2) by scores of 117:110, 118:110, 116:111. It was the first defense of Dzinziruk, who won the title last December from Daniel Santos

Dzindziruk defense delayed!

WBO welterweight champion Sergei Dzindziruk (31-0) has had to postpone his first world title defense. For the past week, the unbeaten Ukrainian has suffered from fever and cold chills and will not be fit to face challenger Sebastian Lujan at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart which is scheduled to take place in eleven days.
