Mexican Oscar Larios arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday afternoon in an upbeat mood. He will square off with Manny Pacquiao on July 2 at the Araneta Coliseum, site of the 1975 Thrilla in Manila between Ali and Frazier. Larios was joined by trainer Edison Reynoso, while agent Rafael Mendoza came in much earlier on board Philippine Airlines. Larios and Reynoso flew in from Los Angeles via EVA Air. They came all the way from Guadalajara. ABS-CBN is staging a press conference on Friday at its headquarters in Quezon City, where Pacquiao and Larios will size each other up for the first time. Larios will head back to Mexico this weekend will spend one month training in Tokyo.
