Welterweight boxers Floyd Mayweather, of Las Vegas, NV, left, and Zab Judha, of Brooklyn, NY, pose for a photograph during the press conference in New York
Floyd Mayweather Jr.: "Don't ever judge a man based on the last fight.....Is this fight worth buying? Hell yeah, I'd buy it.....Sometimes your mouth can write a check your a-- can't cash."
Zab Judah: "This is what the fans want to see. Forget about January 7. We all know that wasn't me."
For the first time since 1999, Hall of Fame promoters Bob Arum and Don King will co-promote a pay-per-view event with "Sworn Enemies" Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah on April 8. Their last joint venture, the "Fight of the Millennium," which featured Oscar de la Hoya vs. Felix 'Tito' Trinidad, was the highest grossing non-heavyweight fight in pay-per-view history. Just for clarification, "Sworn Enemies" is referring to Mayweather and Judah, not King and Arum.
Don King: "I was going to say the lights were going out in Arumville. I've got a generator and I'm not going to let the lights go out in Arumville. They may dim a little."
Bob Arum: "All the ringside seats have been sold. The public knows this is going to be a great fight and they want to be there and they want to see it."
