Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao have a lot of reasons to make weight at tomorrow's weigh-in in Las Vegas. 250,000 reasons to be exact. According to the fight contract, if either fighter fails to make weight, they forfeit $250,000 to their opponent. If a fighter is more than one pound too heavy, they forfeit $500,000. If two pounds or more over, the other fighter has the option of calling off the fight

For the first time in boxing history, the reigning world heavyweight champion will officiate a championship weigh-in. WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman will be the man on the microphone when superstars Erik 'El Terrible' Morales and Manny Pacquiao have their official weigh-in today at Wynn Las Vegas (Margaux Ballroom #1.) Fighters will report at 3PM with Morales and Pacquiao stepping on the scale at exactly 3:30PM

"I'm confident Manny will win - and don't be surprised if Manny wins by a big knockout," predicted a confident chief trainer, Freddie Roach, today in a press conference at Wynn Las Vegas. Roach said two-time world champion Manny Pacquiao had "his best training camp ever" to get prepared for his mega showdown with three-time world champion Erik Morales at the Thomas and Mack Center on Saturday night. "Manny has done all of his homework," said Roach. "In the last fight Morales did not see the best Manny Pacquiao -- but Morales better be prepared this time. I can feel it inside -- we're going to win." Morales vs. Pacquiao II "The Battle" is promoted by Top Rank in association with Wynn Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center. Morales vs. Pacquiao II will be available on HBO Pay Per View
