Narvaez, Parra retain belts!

It was a bad night for French flyweights Monday night in Paris as both previously unbeaten Bernard Inom and Brahim Asloum lost in world title challenges. In the first half of tonight's twinbill, unbeaten WBO flyweight champion Omar Narvaez (20-0-2) retained his title with an eleventh round stoppage of #10 ranked Bernard Inom (13-1). Narvaez (20-0-2) seemingly suffered an injury to his left hand in round five, but still managed to stop Inom with his good paw six round later. In the second title bout, unbeaten WBA flyweight champion Lorenzo Parra (27-0) dropped Olympic gold medalist Brahim Asloum (19-1) in round two with a right hook and went on to a lopsided 119-108, 118-109, 120-107 victory.
