Looks like the WBA "regular" cruiserweight title fight between former champ Virgil Hill and Valery Brudov will land at the Tropicana in Atlantic City on January 27 and the card will be a pay-per-view event. Hill and his promotional partner Toquop Productions won the purse bid in November at the WBA convention in Seoul, South Korea. Guility Boxing has teamed with Hill and Toquop Productions to make the fight happen. In addition to the headliner of Hill vs. Brudov for the WBA title, the line-up includes the IBF strawweight title fight between Muhammad Rachman and Omar Soto (which has been postponed several times), former WBC lightweight champion Stevie Johnston vs 'Mighty' Mike Aranoutis and lightweight contender Nate Campbell vs Miguel Angel Huerta. The card would take place the night before Arturo Gatti-Thomas Damgaard in the same city. FightNews will keep you posted on further developments.
