Nedal Hussein (39-2) is confident of becoming the WBO featherweight champion by scoring a knockout over Scott Harrison (24-2-2) at Glasgow's Braehead Arena, Scotland on Saturday. Hussein has scored 25 knockouts and as a professional and is attempting to make Harrison the 26th KO victim. "I'm telling you now, don't be surprised if I knock Harrison out inside a round, said Hussein. "I know Harrison is a proud Scotsman but when he's in that ring with me I'm going to hit him the hardest he's ever been hit. I'm delighted to be back in Glasgow. On my last visit I left with the Commonwealth crown after beating Brian Carr and this time I will leave with the world title."
Harrison was fortunate to hold onto the WBO title in January with a draw against Victor Polo (36-4-2) in Glasgow. Hussein was outscored over twelve rounds in 2004 when Oscar Larios (53-3-1) held onto the WBC jr featherweight championship in Las Vegas against the Aussie. Harrison defeated Australian featherweight Tony Wehbee (30-7-1) by TKO3 back in 2002 in a Commonwealth title bout.
