Jorge 'La Hiena' Barrios made a successful first defence of his WBO super-featherweight title at the Orfeo Superdomo in Cordoba, Argentina on Friday night with a destructive second round win over Victor Santiago.

Barrios, 44-2-1-(32), floored the Puerto Rican challenger three times before the bout was stopped after 2.30 of the second round. Barrios improves to 44-2-1-(32).

In a heavyweight clash former cruiserweight champion Marcelo Dominguez handed Fabio Moli a sustained beating before decking him in rounds six and seven, forcing the referee to step in and stop the contest.
