O'Neil Bell won the IBF cruiserweight title with a controversial unanimous decision over Dale "Cowboy" Brown Friday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL. Brown rocked Bell several times in round three with an overhead right. A sharp right hand by Bell cut Brown over the left eye in round four. Bell seemed to slow down in round seven and Brown began to take over with his boxing skills. Bell tried to pick up the pace in round ten but Brown continued to box well. Scores were 115-113, 116-112, 117-111.
