BoxingScene.com caught up with Nonito Donaire Jr. as he celebrated his victory over Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. Donaire broke his hand as he picked up the WBO super bantamweight title.
After the fight was over Donaire's hand wraps on his left hand were soaked with blood.
"I broke my hand somewhere between the second and fourth round," Donaire would tell BoxingScene.
The Filipino Flash was sporting a cast on his hand after the fight and said that he won't know the extent of his injury until Monday.
"It hurts to close my hand. I should know to what extent I injured it on Monday," said Donaire.
