Ricardo Cordoba Will Return on February 3rd in Colon City

In his first fight since a split decision loss to Guillermo Rigondeaux in November 2010, tough super bantamweight Ricardo Cordoba (37-3-2, 23KOs) will return on February 3 at Hotel Sheraton in Colon City, Panama. The eight round bout will take place against Miguel Valdez (19-7-2, 13KOs). Cordoba's bout with Rigondeaux took place on the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito undercard at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Cordoba was down in the fourth, but returned fire and put Rigondeaux down in the sixth round.

Dunne Knocks Out Cordoba in a War, Wins WBA Belt

At The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, Bernard Dunne (28-1, 15KOs) finally showed his potential by knocking out Ricardo Cordoba (34-2, 21KOs) in the eleventh round to capture the WBA "regular" super bantamweight title.
