thehype: Boxingtalk would like to welcome Samuel Peter to tonight's T.N.T. chat session

Antonio00: Sam , how far do you think this loss as set you back and would you like to fight again this year or wait till 2006 ?

SAMUEL_PETER: I think it has set me forward. It's an experience that I will learn from for the future. I'm hoping to be back in February sometime.

SAMUEL_PETER: if the right fight comes I'll fight sooner

Adam_Gambuzza: Sam I've been a big Klitschko fan for years but I'm now a Peter fan... who do you look for in your next fight

SAMUEL_PETER: Thank you for that. I don't know, we'll see what my manager and promoter want to do. I'm willing to fight anybody in the division. I want the rematch with Klitschko and I hope he's not able to hold me all night

SAMUEL_PETER: It was like a giant octopus was on me all night

Dus: Sam, most punchers lack good basic boxing ability as you do, that much was seen in your fight with Wladimir. Instead of learning new ways to put people to sleep try learning to box

Dus: You have been working on that lately but you should work exclusively on boxing

SAMUEL_PETER: Yeah. I believe God given me this loss for a reason and I definitely have a lot to work on for twelve rounds. I learned from it and I will not let this happen again. Those twelve rounds taught me a lot.

SAMUEL_PETER: I learned a lot from it.

#1boxing_fan: who do u think will win between V.klitchsko and rahman and why?

SAMUEL_PETER: All I can say is the best man will win. I just hope these Klitschko's are still going to be around because I want to get to both of them.

y_tyson: who do u want to fight next

SAMUEL_PETER: It doesn't matter to me. I want to fight the best out there. I learned from this fight and I can't let nobody be like an octopus on me. I will work on my boxing and be better next time out.

CO-tapout: Sam, do you plan on staying with your current trainer, or will you look for someone who can improve your technique and round out your power with more effective boxing skills?

SAMUEL_PETER: Look, everything will go according to God's design. Everything will happen for a reason. I'm only thinking about being with my family and two kids right now, but I love Pops.

d-downs: Sam don't be set back, Wlad turned his back and held you constantly. He employed the John Ruiz strategy. Did you tire in round 6 after expending so much engergy trying to finish him in round 5? You will be champ soon, don't consider this a set back.

SAMUEL_PETER: Everybody saw that Klitschko wasn't there to fight like a man. His strategy was to hold me all night. The ref was helping him and never even warned him. Every time Klitschko held me he was telling me don't punch.

SAMUEL_PETER: I felt like I was fighting him and the ref at one time.

SAMUEL_PETER: He was stopping me from punching on the inside when he was holding me. I will be champ soon.

fausto_in_dallas: i expect a lot from you Sam, put the beat down on those lazy heavyweights. that fight told me 4 things about you that were good....you have heart, stamina a chin and never ending power. the things u can't teach a boxer. now just get your skills fine tuned.

SAMUEL_PETER: Thanks for all your support.

SAMUEL_PETER: I love my fans.

Dee: Samuel just want to say i believe you need a more experienced trainer who can help you tune up your boxing skillz and make adjustand I do believe you will win a belt but there is always someone who wont get knocked out and you will need to be able to box.

SAMUEL_PETER: Everything happens for a reason and God's plan will fulfill itself. It happened the way it happened and I will be better in my next fight and I learned a lot from this. I want the Klitschko's to know that I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to be right here looking for them.

Eliott_El_Angel_Salter: Sam Peter u brag about how u won't ever be knocked down...in the 12 round u did a chicken wobble...is that your 1st time being staggered and hurt? (don't lie and say dat u didn't get hurt cuz u did)Thanks 4 your time lol

SAMUEL_PETER: You saw me stand up on my two feet. I showed everybody that no man can put me down. He hit me with his best shot and I took it like a man and fought like a man. He hasn't seen my best shot yet, but trust me he will.

awesomeald: What's good Sam. It seemed as though you were only looking for the knock out the whole night, was that the case and did you expect him to be on you like he did ? It seemed as though you didnt catch him flush with one of your big punches, if you landed a big punch do you think that the fight would of been over?

SAMUEL_PETER: All he did was survive. He came to survive. He fought with his strategy and I came to fight. I want to fight in the ring, he wanted to hold. This fight went his way, but there's always tomorrow and I'm going to be looking for this guy down the road.

zabmayweather: sam i thought u won da fight and wlad fought like a herb anyway please fight audley harrison so we can get rid of him

SAMUEL_PETER: I'm really about moving ahead, and he's not the kind of guy I want to fight. I want to fight for titles and I want to fight the best. If he's a champion we could fight, but I want to fight for a world title. One or two fights and then a title. Very soon.

jeremy_from_www.docsports.com: Congrats Sam on a gutsy performance. I felt Wlad would win because of his boxing abilities, but your stamina impressed me. Do you think you need to work on boxing basics(jab, defense) so you can get on the inside w/these taller heavyweights?

SAMUEL_PETER: Let's put it this way, I learned from this and I will do what I have to do to make myself better next time. We still have more business to finish and I want my rematch down the road.

JohnnyDub: Sam, do you feel that you will be given the opportunity to return to HBO or do you think they will cater to Wlad because big brother and not put you on any further shows? Thanks and best of luck-Johnny Dub

SAMUEL_PETER: I'm a fighter. People know what I come to do. Whether it's HBO or Showtime, I'm ready for anyone. If HBO does that so be it, I'm here to be the undisputed champion of the world and there's nobody stopping me from that.

mbase: Much respect Sam, I asked you about defense before. Do you think now that you need to work on defense and cutting off the ring? And why not go to the body hard when someone holds you like that?

SAMUEL_PETER: I tried to go to the body but he always had his hands on me and the ref tell me no punch when he held. I had to fight like two men on the same time. He just had his hands on me anytime I got inside. He wanted to hold me not fight me.

SAMUEL_PETER: All I can tell you is God is with me and I will follow his plan. Nobody can deny me being the champion of the world. All I know about business is I'm going to take care of my business in the ring and be a world champion.

figthsfan: did u run out of gas at some point during the figth?

SAMUEL_PETER: not really. I was trying to get him out of there and I was trying hard. I was okay the whole twelve rounds. I was ready for another three more rounds

John_L: sam: when you turned southpaw, was that your idea, or your corners

John_L: did you practice that in training. thanks

SAMUEL_PETER: It was just what I had to do at the time. I could fight both way, but I was trying to just get to his chin and I was doing everything I could to hit him.

thehype: Boxingtalk would like to thank Samuel Peter for taking time out of his schedule to chat with us tonight

SAMUEL_PETER: Thanks for coming, I love my fans, continue to support me!
