In a clash of super lightweight contenders, WBA #1/WBC #5/IBF #3/WBO #1 Victor Ortiz (28-2-2, 22 KOs) and WBA #4/IBF #6/WBO #9 Lamont Peterson (28-1-1, 14 KOs) battled to a ten round majority draw. Las Vegas - Four junior welterweights hit the IBA Gym to hold private workouts for the American and British press. WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, and his challenger Marcos Maidana, put in some hard work. The boxers who are scheduled to clash in the HBO televised co-feature, Lamont Peterson and Victor Ortiz, were also on hand and worked out for the media.
