Biography

In 1998 in the fight with swiss Sabina Ritter Alina won a title of Europe Champion on professional boxing. She asserted this title 3 times.

On June, 13, 2002 in London (England) Alina Shaternikova won a title of the World Champion on professional boxing. It was a risky step from Alina’s side - her opponent was an Englishwoman Ketty Brown, acted in the bigger weight category (51 kg). Brown was heavier, larger, during the fight she clinched a lot, came into in-fighting. The fight was difficult, but Аlina honorably won on points, by the unanimous decision of judges.

Unlike German and English boxers, preferring the force style in boxing, Аlina emphasizes on technique and speed. Her trainer A.L.Likhter considers, that Alina has a huge potential, because, besides of professionalism, her distinguishing features are discipline, high efficiency and aspiration to be the first.

Now Alina Shaternikova has headed National Box Promotion (holds a post of director) and with success has lead tournament on September, 16th in Dnepropetrovsk
