Biography
Vadim’s pro debut was very convincing application for success in professional boxing. He has overcome the Russia Champion Alexander Garashenko by unanimous decision of judges.
The title of Ukraine Champion Vadim Safonov has won on September, 21, 2002 in fight with Andrey Kulpitskiy. Vadim has lead this fight so that he leaved no doubts for public and no chances for the opponent, having shown a perfect combination of speed and complex technical elements.
A.L. Lihter considers Vadim Safonov as a very perspective boxer, who possess of good technics, strict punch and also the excellent physical form. If Vadim keeps the same way of training in further, in a couple of years we shall hear about him as about the boxer of a world level.
