WBA #5/WBC #12 middleweight Andy Lee (25-1, 19 KOs) won his «Celtic War» against previously unbeaten WBO #12 Craig McEwan (19-1, 10 KOs) scoring a spectacular tenth round KO. McEwen was surprisingly dominant over the first half of the fight. The heavily favored Lee mounted a comeback down the stretch and dropped McEwan in round nine. Lee finished him in round ten.
