WBO junior middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (34-0, 22 KOs) retained his title for the third time with an eleventh round TKO of previously unbeaten Carlos Nascimento (16-1, 13 KOs). The bout ended when a Dzinziruk combination sent a reeling Nascimento across the ring and through the ropes. The bout was then stopped by Florida referee Brian Garry.
