WBC super middleweight champion Markus Beyer retained his title outscoring Danny Green on Saturday night in Zwickau, Germany. Unlike their first fight (when Beyer was down twice early on, before winning by DQ after a Green headbutt), Beyer (32-2; 12KOs) comprehensively outboxed Green for much of the fight and was able to pepper him with meaningful shots.
