It looks like the next foe for Russian heavyweight giant Nicolai Valuev (40-0; 30KOs) will be American fringe contender Clifford Etienne (29-3-2; 20KOs). Etienne is tentatively booked in to fight Valuev on May 14 in Bayreuth, Germany, on a defense of the Russian's WBA I/C title. An official request has already been sent to the WBA offices in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and an answer is expected pretty soon. Valuev backs 14th May!

Nikolai Valuev will fight on the 14th of May in Bayreuth, Germany. His opponent is not named yet, though the negotiations concerning it are already in the process.
