- Do you wish you were fighting for a title?
Felix Trinidad: "I feel great leading up to this fight. My plan has always been to fight the best possible opponents. This has been our plan since I returned and Winky was the only one brave enough to challenge me and I give him credit for calling me out. - You also had managerial problems and a physical exam that the boxing commission wanted you to be re-checked for. Did those problems contribute to your loss that night against Pacquiao?
Marco Antonio Barrera: I think so, there were just so many problems. - Now that we're on the subject, how did you get the nickname “Big Truck”? Was this something you earned or is it something that has stuck with you since you were a kid?
Wayne Braithwaite: "No, it was something that I earned. In my career nothing was given to me. I had to work for everything I have. I got the nickname in my first pro fight. I fought an opponent by the name of John Douglas back home in Guyana. I knocked Douglas out in four rounds. After the fight, they asked him to describe my punching power. His exact words were, “It felt like I got hit with a big truck...”

Jeff Fenech: "Mike wants me to help him get ready for a comeback fight in Washington DC in June. He is still one of the most devastating fighters in the world and if he trains properly he will crush Vitali Klitschko and John Ruiz who hold the heavyweight titles these days. I believe Mike has a new mindset and that he is focused on regaining his place at the top of boxing..."

- Knowing that you were on the undercard with Bernard and that you could potentially have a big fight with him down the line, did that affect your overall game plan and how you came out to fight?
Jermain Taylor: "Could be. I felt a little bit of pressure. All the fans looking like, ‘Is he the future? Is he not the future?’ But I don’t worry about all that though, I just go in there and take care of business..."

Howard Eastman: "I hope he will give me another opportunity.
Most definitely he ran. He was strategizing at the same time. I cut the ring off and the referee never gave us a chance to fight. I was fighting Hopkins and the referee at the same time..."
